Dutch manufacturer of high-end lifts for yachts, Lift Emotion, has developed a new procedure to save time installing glass-finished elevators onboard yachts. The company has recently completed a lift installation in a record three days, on a 100metre plus yacht, built and recently delivered in Northern Europe. VAT on Greek yacht charters to increase from 1 June 2016

The Greek parliament has approved a 1% hike in VAT, effective from 1 June. This increase will see the standard rate of VAT go from 23% to 24%. The rise is expected to generate between €400m and €500m, and will help meet a gap in the 2017-18 budget forecast.
