Brian Deher, Gili Wojnowich and Simon Bryan Will Oversee Marina Operations and Planning in the Caribbean and Latin America, United States, and Europe, Respectively 

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – July 11, 2017 – IGY Marinas today announced the promotions of three company team members. Brian Deher has been promoted to regional director: marina operations and planning, Caribbean and Latin America; Gili Wojnowich has been named regional director: marina operations and planning, United States, Bahamas and South America; and Simon Bryan will serve as regional director: marina operations and planning, Europe.

Brian Deher will direct IGY Marinas’ operations in the Caribbean and Latin America.  A seasoned industry veteran, Deher is the former director of marina operations and planning for IGY Marinas’ St. Maarten locations – Yacht Club at Isle de Sol and Simpson Bay Marina.  He began his career at IGY in 2005 and will now help transition additional Caribbean and Latin American marinas into the company’s portfolio.  Additionally, Deher will implement IGY Marinas branding and operational standards and will oversee the management at each regional property.  His knowledge will be sourced to assist with prospective planning for potential retail and leasing space, F&B operations and renovations.

Gili Wojnowich will now be responsible for overseeing the operations at IGY marinas in the United States, Bahamas, and South America. Recently, he served as general manager for One Island Park – Miami Beach, which boasts the largest private purpose-built megayacht dock in the United States.  A seasoned veteran with IGY, Wojnowich has served as operations manager for corporate, providing direct support to the company’s executive team, assisting IGY’s facility general managers, and analyzing numerous business development, marina management and acquisition opportunities.  He has also been the general manager for several IGY marina locations, including The Montauk Yacht Club Resort & Marina in New York; Newport Yacht Club & Marina in New Jersey; and the company’s flagship superyacht facility, Marina at Yacht Haven Grande in St. Thomas.

Simon Bryan will support IGY’s expansion efforts in the Mediterranean and will research deep saltwater facilities that synergize with the company’s existing assets, clients and strategic partners across the yachting industry. Bryan has supported IGY in various positions, serving as general manager of Rodney Bay Marina in St. Lucia where he was responsible for more than 250 slips, a fully serviced boatyard and the Upland retail space. He also opened North Cove Marina at Brookfield Place and oversaw the installation of new docks and infrastructure. During his tenure, the marina hosted an America’s World Series event and the Vendee Globe Ocean Masters. Additionally, Bryan was responsible for the operations of Newport Yacht Club and Marina in Jersey City and Montauk Yacht Club in the Hamptons. 

Each promotion will help IGY Marinas continue its robust growth in key regions.  With a diverse collection of 15 luxury yachting destinations in seven countries, the company recently transitioned its marketing partnership at Red Frog Beach Marina to an ownership/management agreement, and has partnered with innovative boating service application, Boatyard, to expand its value-added customer offerings.
