“The maiden voyage of the ferryboat “Ilha Grande” is part of the celebrations of 180 years of ferry service in Guanabara Bay, Rio de Janerio.
The ferry is owned and operated by the state transport company: SETRANS
Teignbridge supplied the shafts to INACE in Fortaleza in Brazil”

This pair of shafts for the “Ilha Grande” were designed by Teignbridge Propellers using shaft line design software ‘ShaftDesigner’ at 11.900m each.
